I'm (your name here) a Storyboard Artist, Character Designer, BG Designer, etc. located in LA
If you are making a "BG Design" portfolio this is the tab you should reference, not the "Storyboard" or "Character Design" tabs.
Similar to how the "Character Design" portfolio was set up, set your "BG Design" portfolio on a per project basis as well. Pick multiple scenes from the world of the project you've created and or shots straight from the story that are key elements in your project. Have at least 3 backgrounds of separate locations containing at least 3 different shots of each location. For example, if you first background is a bakery, have 3 different angles of that bakery that conveys the mood, design, and feel of that location. Keep composition and design in mind when creating it. To summarize - 3 locations, 3 shots of each location, so 9 images total.
Sample Project 1
Location 1
Remember this is a place holder and should be separate angles of this bakery examples.
Location 2
As seen above place 3 different angles of the same location.
Location 3
Remember this is a place holder and should be separate angles of this bakery examples.
As seen above place 3 different angles of the same location.
